There are many kinds of trucks, which are used in logistics, and they are: semi-trailer truck, jumbo trailer truck, tail-lift truck, straight truck, truck trailer, and flat bed truck.

Transport Trucks

The most common type of truck is the semi-trailer, which is suitable for the transport of a majority of cargoes. These trucks can be loaded from the back, sideways or from above and can carry cargoes as much as 24,000 kg.

Jumbo trailers are a better version of the semi-trailer in the sense that it has more space for loading cargoes.

Tail-lift trucks has lifting mechanism and mainly used for distribution transport.

In loading small items, furniture, home products and expedited freight deliveries, straight trucks are frequently used.

For heavy volume of goods with a capacity range of 16 to 25 tons, a trailer truck is highly recommended.

Flat-bed trucks have similar loading capacity that of truck trailers and a better version.
