Earn More With High Ticket Items In Internet Marketing
While somewhat harder to promote, if you want to earn more with high ticket items in internet marketing, there are a few considerations that you must put in place.
1. Be client oriented, not income focused (that will come). Research the demands and requirements of your target audience – discover what they are looking for – and they will be more open to what you say and write.
This means being genuine in showing interest and conveying that you are there to help. Go those extra steps to ensure that you provide every bit of information and guidance that will assist them achieve their goals. Nothing will make them hit the delete or unsubscribe button faster than conveying the idea your main interest is in their wallet.
2. Make Your Product or Service known.
When promoting your products make sure that the benefits and features are clearly spelt out – obviously.
Give free samples or extracts that not only entice but illustrate or demonstrate.
This can be done in multiple formats:
1. E-books
2. Eight step mini-course – via mp3 or e-book
3. Offer free sessions – if you are developing a coaching course.
• Get hooked into two or three main social media apps – Twitter, Facebook, YouTube
• Blog about your products – on your own blog and also when commenting on other blogs.
• Use your website to highlight your products, especially the high ticket items.
• Drive traffic to the sales pages through article marketing
• Offer an exchange with similar blogs – if they promote your coaching program – give it to them for free.
• Obtain and publish endorsements from satisfied customers and also from identified experts in the niche. With the latter ask them to try your coaching for free.
3. Make customer satisfaction a priority
A customer is more likely to return for further offerings if they are well satisfied with their first purchase/s. Make sure that the products being promoted are not just fluff or anything else that is floating around on the net.
Offer different products and services that are aimed at their specific needs. The best means of doing this is via a product funnel.
Initially, offer your customer something inexpensive – but useful. It can be in the form of an e-book, a guide or report. If they find this worthwhile then they will be more open to other offerings.
Next – don’t jump to the highest priced ticket item on your shelf. Offer middle range products. This can be in the form of a single aspect coaching service or teleseminar and webinars
Of course it is the high ticket item in your product funnel that will jump your revenue well up the scale – and these can range as high as $4000. The caveat on these is that they MUST deliver quality that really satisfies and gives value for money expended.
